These terms are the agreement between you and Electra Games (“we”, “us”), the publisher of DOWN BAD, the free pipe runner on this site. Electra Games is run by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS].

By playing DOWN BAD, with or without a wallet, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what the game keeps. If you do not agree, please do not play.

Who can play

You must be 13 or older to play. If you are under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian.

Any prize we may offer in future is only for players who are 18 or older and allowed to take part where they live.

Free, with no account

DOWN BAD is free to play. There is no account to make, and you can play as a guest without a wallet.

Your best run, your picks and your settings are kept in your own browser. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them. The runs you finish are also sent to us for the leaderboards (see below).

Connecting a wallet

Connecting a wallet is optional and does not change how the game plays.

When you connect, the game asks your wallet for its public address and nothing else. It never asks you to sign a message, switch network or approve a transaction, and it cannot move anything in your wallet.

Your address is shown on screen and kept in your browser. SIGN OUT, on the cover, forgets it in your browser. Your wallet app keeps its own record of the connection, which you can remove there.

You are responsible for your wallet and its security. We never hold your assets and will never ask for your recovery phrase.

The game does not check what your wallet owns. The survivor shown at the end of a run is a sample shown to every player and does not mean you own it.

Nothing to buy

There is nothing to buy in DOWN BAD. If we ever sell anything, its price and terms will be shown before you pay.

Coins, items and rides

Coins, crates and paint picked up in a run count only in that run. Coins add to its score, and every 100 coins gives that run an extra hard hat, or a shield once it has five. They are not saved, cannot be spent, traded or redeemed, and have no cash value.

Rides in the garage are free to use while we offer them. Rides marked SOON are previews and cannot be raced yet.

Unless we clearly say otherwise where you get it, nothing in the game has cash value or can be exchanged with us for money.

Scores, leaderboards and prizes

When a run ends, the game sends it to us: every input you made, its score and its ride. Our server plays the inputs through the game to check the score, and only runs that check out go on the leaderboards, TODAY and ALL TIME. THIS SEASON opens in Season 2.

Your place on a board shows the name you pick (3 to 12 letters, numbers and spaces) to every player. We may refuse, remove or change a name, and we may remove any run or score.

Fair play

Play fair. Do not use cheats, bots, scripts, macros or any automated play, exploit bugs, or change the game’s code, its saved data or the runs it records.

Runs started past stage 1, from links that change the game, or made with changed code or data do not count. We may void any score or run, remove results and block access where we believe play was not fair.

Your health

DOWN BAD has flashing lights, fast motion and sudden sounds. A small number of people can have seizures triggered by flashing lights. If you or your family have a history of seizures, ask a doctor before playing. Stop at once if you feel dizzy or unwell, and take breaks.

Our game

DOWN BAD, its name, art, music, sound and code belong to Electra Games or those who license them to us. You may play it in your browser for your own use, and we may withdraw this permission.

You may stream and share clips of your play, including on channels that earn money. Beyond that, do not copy, sell or share the game or its parts, take it apart beyond what the law allows, or do anything that harms the game, its hosting or other players.

A game in progress

DOWN BAD is still being built. Stages, rides, scoring and rules may change, and the game may be unavailable, reset or taken down at any time. An update to the course can clear your saved best run.

No warranty

The game is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises, stated or implied, that it will work without errors, interruptions or loss of data, or that it suits any purpose.

Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, scores, progress or digital assets, arising from the game or from connecting a wallet to it.

Where the law allows a limit, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited or excluded.

Stopping

You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we may stop offering the game.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we will update the date above and the game may ask you to agree again. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. The courts there will hear any dispute, unless the law where you live lets you bring it where you live.
